However, there are some cases where the man and/or the mother are deceased, and, as a consequence, their blood types which are essential for the calculation of paternity probability, are not directly available. In the present paper we have derived general formulas of paternity probability which are applicable to any cases where the man and/or the mother are deceased, using the blood types of various relatives.
