The incorrect sentences are analyzed in order to trace possible causes of those errors. The errors presented are classified into three types: (1) syntactical errors, specifically those caused by an insufficient knowledge of English verb patterns; (2) errors arising from the violation of selectional or semantic restrictions, namely those caused by a lack of knowledge about the co-occurrenees of verbs and their objects; and (3) errors more or less attributable to L1 interference. It is shown that the division between errors traceable to L1 interference and those that are independent of L1 interference is not always clearcut.}, pages = {91--101}, title = {英語受け身文の誤文分析}, year = {1992} }
