A 48-year old man was referred to our hospital because of right spontaneous pneumothorax. We performed bullectomy by video assisted thoracic surgery (VATS). The pathological findings revealed that a malignant solitary fibrous tumor (MSFT) consisted in part of the specimen. The disease recurred 2 times and the patient finally died about one year after the first operation.
