inhibitor (UTI)はin vitroおよびin vivoにおいて癌の浸潤転移を抑制した.しかし, UTIそのものには抗腫瘍効果がないために転移の抑制による生存期間の若干の延長は期待できるが, 治療による予後の改善は難しい.そこで今回我々は, マウスを用いて腫瘍の切除および抗癌剤との併用による治療効果について検討し, 臨床応用への可能性を探った.転移モデルとしてマウスlewis Lung Carcinoma(3LL)肺転移巣をC57BL/6てマウスの皮下移植により継代したものを使用した.マウス腹部皮下に3LL細胞を移植して7, 14, 21日後に移植巣を切除, 移植28日目に屠殺し肺転移コロニー数をカウントした.さらに, 移植巣を切除したものにUTI and/or Etoposideを投与し同様に検討した.7日目切除群においては移植巣の切除のみで転移が起こらないものもあり治療効果では有意な差はみられなかったが, UTI併用群では肺転移コロニー数は少なく転移抑制が確認された.さらに抗癌剤を冷えようすることにより全例において治癒がみられた.14日目切除群ではUTIの併用により転移は有意に抑制されており, 治癒例はないものの, 手術とUTI併用の有効性が確認された.これは切除前および切除時に血管内に侵入していた細胞の侵出を抑制したためと思われる.一方, 抗癌剤を併用した場合, 抗腫瘍効果による生存期間の若干の延長はみられるが肺転移コロニー数に有意差はみられなかった.しかし, さらにUTIを併用することにより転移が抑制され治癒例もみられた.以上UTIの転移抑制作用は,
