| 内容記述 | 信頼性があり,かつ正確な心理物理測定とは,反応の変動-日内・日間変動および被験者間での変動-の少ない測定であるべきだとされてきた.しかし変動の少ない測定が常に正確であるとは限らない.大きな,かつ周期性のある,或いはどちらかを持つ日間変動,および個人差が,下記のいくつかの研究から見出された.即ちBartley現象,選択反応時間,CFF,聴・視覚閾値,および色相弁別時間閾値である.これらの研究では,各個人の反応変動量および反応分布のパターンは,長期間にわたって保持されていた.他方,日内変動は実験期間のはじめの3?4日間に減少した.このような減少した日内変動と,保持されている反応分布パターンを伴う測定は,精度の高い信頼性のある測定である.本論文に引用した実験例のデータは,測定精度の観点からは,3種類のカテゴリーに分類できる. Usually we think that reliable and accurate psychophysical measurement should be had small variances of responses: variances of intra-day; day-to-day and among subjects, since the small variance resulted in high reproducible responses and resulted in reliable measures. However, the small variances of responses are not only accurate for the measurement but also non-accurate. Large and (or) periodical variance of day-to-day and large individual differences were shown in several psychophysical studies: Bartley phenomena (brightness enhancement); choice reaction time; flicker fusion frequency; auditory and visual threshold; time threshold of hue discrimination. In these studies, amounts of variance and patterns of distribution of response obtained from each individual were maintained over a long period. On the other hand, individuals' intra-clay variances of responses were reduced during first three or four days in consecutive experimental-days. The measurement resulting in the intra-day variance reduced and the pattern of response distribution maintained were high accurate and reliable. The data obtained from the studies quoted in the paper were divided into three categories about accuracy of measurement. | |||||||||
